Following in the footsteps of Nashville and Magnolia, this adventurous first feature interweaves the lives of eleven Athenians, including a gay coroner, a car-crash survivor, an aging scientist, a gregarious truck-driver, a reclusive philosopher, an executive unable to satisfy his wife, a Polish housekeeper with a missing husband, and a weightlifter competing for the world championship.
