2001, 35mm, 104 minutes

Starring:

Having lost all his money (like many Greeks) in the stock-market crash of 1999), Makis toils as a kitschily costumed greeter at a steak house. His hapless existence takes a turn for the better when he falls in love with the mistress (a former Miss Mass Tourism) of the president of the very company that swallowed his investments, and a turn for worse when the cops finger him for an attempt on the tycoon's life. There are plenty of cynical jabs, frenetic chases, and bare backsides in this smash-hit satire from veteran comedy director Perakis (Loufa kai Parallagi).
